Give this time in the glass to open up. Once aerated, it offers a delicate perfume of peach, strawberry, cherry and cream, with a green herbal edge. The palage is dry and has tangy fruit, a lovely lift of piercing acidity and fine, long-lasting bubbles.

Aromas of coffee, black cherry, red cherry and grilled meat. Full-bodied with velvety tannins. Powerful and rich. Decadent, with a dry finish. Only 900 bottles made. Drink now.
A deep ruby colour immediately gives away to the dark fruit and savoury spices that mark the near-perfect 2016 vintage in Napa Valley. Blackberry and mulling spices lift out of the glass, with hints of black olive and underbrush. Lucious boysenberry and cranberry fruit...
Herbal in style, this aged red is leathery and powerful in oak and tannin. Black olive, nutmeg and blackberry combine around a hearty ripeness and lasting grip. -Virginie Boone
From Napa Valley, a concentrated and juicy blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot, of which a portion is aged in new French oak barriques. Dark ruby in the glass with cassis, liquid blueberry, earthy florals, cedar spice and smoky vanilla flavours on the palate. Tannins are fine and velvety. Drink or hold.
Ripe black cherry and plum are shaded by savory tones of tobacco, spice and earth in this richly textured yet finessed wine. It's full bodied and succulent but balanced by crisp acidity and a tannic frame. Immediately enjoyable it should hold through 2022. -ANNA LEE C. IIJIMA
